Association of Missouri Electric Cooperatives was founded in 1937 with the mission of providing a means for electric cooperatives to work together and accomplish things collectively that they could not do as effectively or efficiently on their own. AMEC is a grassroots organization that works together to keep the rural electric program strong and influential in Missouri.

NW Electric Power Cooperative, Inc’s mission is to provide dependable, high-quality wholesale power to meet all present and future requirements of its members. It furnishes strong leadership in marketing, community, economic development and customer service.

Central Electric Power Cooperative, headquartered in Jefferson City, Missouri, is an electric generation and transmission cooperative and is an independent, locally-owned business. Central is owned by and delivers power to eight distribution cooperatives covering a 22,000 square mile area in central Missouri. They exist to serve the needs of their member cooperatives by providing excellent electric generation and transmission systems and long-term rate stability in a competitive environment.  Central provides additional services needed to maintain and improve economic opportunities and the quality of life in Central Missouri.

Black Widow Custom Bows, Inc. is a Missouri-based company well-recognized for being the best custom traditional bows on the market today. Hodgdon Powder Established in 1947 by Bruce and Amy Hodgdon, today, sons Bob and JB have grown Hodgdon Powder Company into the largest US supplier of smokeless, blackpowder and blackpowder substitute propellants. The company distributes gunpowder under the Hodgdon®IMR®Winchester® and Goex® brands.

Burgers’ Smokehouse is a smokehouse and producer of cured and smoked meats and other foods in California, Missouri. It is one of the largest processors of naturally cured hams in the U.S. The company’s packaging says “Home of Hickory Smoked, Sugar Cured Meats since 1952”, although the family’s selling of hams by E.M. Burger and his German mother Hulda is said to go back to the 1920s. The company now sells “about 750,000 hams a year, plus bacon, sausage and a dozen other specialty meats”.

Ozark Bait & Tackle was founded by Tony Edgar in 2002 as Edgar’s Outdoor Sports. Tony grew up with a love for the outdoors in Versailles just fifteen minutes from Lake of the Ozarks. He wanted to create a place where the avid hunter or fisher could find everything necessary to enjoy the outdoors. It started as a small store just outside of Versailles. In 2007 Tony moved just down the road to a new and larger building. With that move, the inventory grew and Edgar’s Outdoor Sports began to offer a wider range of hunting and fishing accessories. The addition of Randy Washburn as a business partner in 2015 grew the company grew to two stores, adding the Laurie location, and changed the name to Ozark Bait & Tackle. energy, revitalizing global agriculture, and providing a cleaner, affordable alternative to fossil fuels.

For nearly 60 years, Powder Horn Guns & Archery has served the people of Columbia, Missouri. They are a family-owned sporting goods business with a passion for the outdoors. Northeast Power is a not-for-profit transmission electric utility headquartered in Palmyra, Missouri. They are owned by the eight member-distribution cooperatives they serve – three in southeast Iowa and five in northeast Missouri. They are part of a three-tiered not-for-profit cooperative system. Each level has its own set of unique responsibilities. The member-distribution cooperatives are the top tier. They provide electric service directly to the member-owners, which include businesses, farms, and households. Northeast Power is part of the second level of the three-tiered system, which is primarily responsible for transmission services and delivery of wholesale power to their member-distribution cooperatives.

Woods Smoked Meats, located in Pike County, Missouri, has been in operation since 1952. They offer a fully stocked meat case every day filled with fresh-cut steaks, roasts, smoked hams and turkeys, cured bacon, and much more! They also carry a variety of other meats and seafood and will fill special orders for you.
