Jefferson City, Mo – July 18, 2016 – The Conservation Federation of Missouri is Diamond_Logopleased to welcome Diamond Pet Foods as the newest Gold Level Business Alliance member.

Diamond Pet Foods, an industry leader in quality pet foods, is produced at four state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities across the U.S. Headquartered in Meta, Missouri, the company also has plants in Gaston, South Carolina; Lathrop, California; and Ripon, California. All facilities incorporate the latest technology and manufacturing processes. Every step of the process is carefully monitored, tracked and measured to ensure the quality and safety of every product.

“Our philosophy and our business model have always been to produce premium pet food at an affordable price. Because we believe every pet, from purebred show animal to shelter puppy or kitten, is worthy of the best nutrition,” said John Kampeter, Vice President of Sales for Diamond Pet Foods.

Diamond Pet Foods began in 1970 with a shared vision. The company’s founders, brothers-in-law Gary Schell and Richard Kampeter, believed that premium pet food could be produced at an affordable price. Together, they purchased a former milling company in the town of Meta, Missouri, and Diamond Pet Foods was born.

Today, Diamond Pet Foods is one of the fastest growing pet food manufacturers in the country. The company’s products are trusted by professional breeders, trainers, veterinarians and pet owners in all 50 states and in 100 countries around the world. The second generation of Schell and Kampeter families still own and operate the company.

“Diamond Pet Foods is an industry leader in providing quality pet foods. Having fed Diamond products to my personal pets for years, I can attest to the quality of the pet food for reaching optimal performance in working dogs,” said Rehan Nana, director of corporate relations for CFM. “This partnership showcases the dedication of Diamond Pet Foods to Missouri’s health outdoor resources. CFM looks forward to working with Diamond to further conservation in our great state.”
