CLC Activies

Students accepted into the CLC attend the annual CFM Convention where they are full voting members—eligible to participate in all activities.

Resolutions

The CLC students work in teams to select and prepare resolutions addressing conservation issues.
The resolutions are submitted to the CFM membership for approval at the annual convention. If approved, the resolutions are sent to the appropriate places for action. Often they are presented to state agencies or the Missouri General Assembly.

CLC Legislative Day

Every spring, the CLC students visit the State Capitol where they are given an opportunity to observe government in action and to discuss their views with their elected representatives.
The event is a one-day affair and is organized and hosted by the Executive Director of the Conservation Federation of Missouri.
