Conservation Federation of Missouri Seeks Corporate Relations Manager

The Conservation Federation of Missouri (CFM) is in search of a qualified individual to serve as our Corporate Relations Manager.

The Mission of the Conservation Federation of Missouri: To ensure conservation of Missouri’s wildlife and natural resources, and preservation of our state’s rich outdoor heritage through advocacy, education and partnerships.

The Corporate Relations Manager is responsible for planning and managing the Conservation Federation’s corporate partnerships and fundraising activities. The Corporate Relations Manager reports to the Executive Director and works closely with the Board of Directors in all corporate partner endeavors.

The CFM Business Alliance currently consists of 85 businesses. Business Alliance partners are classified at the Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze or Iron level based on the amount of their financial contribution. These partnerships must be managed to ensure value for the corporate partners and CFM.

Growing the Business Alliance is critical to the financial health of CFM and is the priority of this position. The Corporate Relations Manager must be able to work through a traditional sales process to onboard new businesses as CFM corporate partners. Growing current partners to higher levels is also important.

Responsibilities of this position include keeping the Business Alliance members informed about and engaged in CFM efforts and sharing the stories of our Business Alliance partners to the members of CFM through our communications platforms. This position is responsible for Business Alliance participation in CFM’s annual convention, regional events, clay shoots and more. This positions handles contracts and records keeping for the Business Alliance and is responsible for managing the invoicing process.

Business Alliance

  • Lead Business Alliance membership strategy, development and execution.
  • Develop promotional plans and materials to engage, recruit, and retain Business Alliance members, then execute and measure success.
  • Identify Business Alliance prospects through research and relationships, and develop appropriate membership acquisition and retention strategies.
  • Develop and manage Business Alliance oriented webpages, magazine articles, social media posts, videos and podcasts.
  • Lead/coordinate Business Alliance attendance and activities at all CFM events including: annual convention, Explore the Outdoors events, clay shoots and pint nights.

Corporate Prospecting and Care

  • Ensure current partners feel engaged and cared for by developing and leading a strategic, coordinated process carried out by the Executive Director and Development/Communications team.
  • Manage all aspects of corporate partner database, ensuring accurate data tracking to inform and guide the cultivation process.
  • Identify, research and begin cultivation of potential new corporate funding sources.
  • Develop and execute special corporate partner events.
  • Manage corporate partner participation in existing CFM events.

Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree required, preferably in Business, Marketing or related field.
  • Minimum of three-years of development experience.

Starting Salary: $45,000 negotiable based on experience.

Location: This position is located in our Jefferson City office. Travel to meet partners and prospects across Missouri, and occasionally nationally, is required.
