Jefferson City, MO | July 16, 2018 – The Conservation Federation of Missouri (CFM) staff continues to grow with the addition of Mike Capps as Corporate Relations Manager. Mike will be charged with further developing and expanding CFM’s highly successful Business Alliance Program.

“Mike Capps brings a wealth of industry experience to the Conservation Federation. For nearly two decades, he has worked with many of the biggest corporations in the outdoor market and earned a reputation as the sort of professional our partners can count on to maximize the benefits of supporting CFM. We are lucky to have him. I know our Business Alliance is going to thrive under Mike’s leadership,” said Brandon Butler, Executive Director.

As a life-long resident of Missouri and an avid outdoorsman, Mike learned to be a good steward of the land while growing up on a farm in the East-Central part of the state. His love for the outdoors led to a career in the hunting and shooting sports industry, representing a number of different companies. He enjoys hunting, fishing, shooting and most anything outdoors.

“I’m excited to be a part of such a great organization,” Mike said. “The Conservation Federation of Missouri has a long and distinguished history and their efforts have helped make the state of Missouri into an example for other states to follow when it comes to protecting the environment and our outdoor heritage.”

Mike and his wife Kathy are Pike County natives and are active in their church and community. They will celebrate 40 years of marriage in December and have been blessed with two children and six grandchildren.
